CSA is looking for a systems administrator who specializes in monitoring and maintaining the Enterprise Compliance Patching with a solid background in patching, security configuration compliance, and vulnerability assessment who regularly exercises discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

  • Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems and document system events to ensure continuous functionality for a hardened state.
  • You'll coordinate with all applicable application owners, program managers, and database administrators to initiate corrective actions and help to perform some of the testing of new items including security updates, image deployment, and patch management.
  • Help customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management, using tools to automate continuous patching and compliance.
  • Utilize your technical expertise will to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network and ensure security posture is maintained.
  • Utilize your experience and communication skills to turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning and system state.
  • Gain experience in compliance remediation and patch management to ensure applications and system resources are compliant with DoD hardening.

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret Clearance.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Years of Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with MECM and EvalSTIG
  • General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration
  • Certifications: Security+ or equivalent bachelors degree
  • Ability to configure systems and hardware for compliance standards
  • Ability to interpret technical assessments and communicate security issues to program leadership
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

What Sets You Apart:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Cybersecurity assessments using DoD hardening, RMF controls, CIS Benchmarks, and automated solutions
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for securing networks, servers, and computers to enhance overall security
  • Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems, including Navy systems
  • Experience with scripting, including PowerShell
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment
  • Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification for designated Operating Systems
  • Bachelor's degree
