Location



In this office, we evaluate and treat a range of urologic disorders in adult patients. Our team is board certified and includes experts in minimally-invasive surgical techniques, such as laparoscopic, endoscopic, extracorporeal and percutaneous approaches.


We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


The primary location is our Salem office (400 Highland Avenue), with rotations to satellite sites in Peabody, Saugus, and Swampscott, and one Thursday per month in Middleton (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM). Locations and hours are typically posted on the Medical Assistant's schedule two weeks in advance.

General Summary



Our Medical Assistants partner with and work alongside a physician or advanced practice provider. Responsibilities include:


  • Functioning as a "flow manager"/ensuring efficient patient flow through the office

  • Assisting the Provider and/or Nurse with patient care during the office visit (examination, procedures, and treatments as directed)

  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (phone triage, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)

  • Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas

  • Providing an exceptional care experience by interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.

  • Required:

    • Completion of a formal, post-secondary clinical training program (ex. Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Nursing Assistant) OR Matriculation in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in nursing (RN).




  • Strongly Preferred:

    • Certificate, Diploma or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited program

    • A minimum of 2 years of ambulatory experience in a physician's office setting

    • Relevant specialty care experience

    • National Medical Assistant Certification
