The SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR will oversee the maintenance and security of company intranets and computer systems.
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
Monitors, maintains, and updates System Security Policy per customer requirements and cybersecurity standards (NIST 800-171, CMMC).
Research, develop and implement network security protocols.
Responsible for server, network, and client architecture.
Develop and implement backup strategies to safeguard critical data, and create and maintain disaster recovery plans.
Maintain networks and network file systems, including monitoring the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors.
Maintain and manage systems such as Windows, Linux, or Mac, as well as operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Research, develop and implement server-side productivity software.
Draw and maintain building maps Network, Server, Client, IP schema.
Implement and maintain network communications infrastructure.
Maintain and administer existing building access, paging and AV systems.
Provide IT support for Production systems (Ovens, wet line monitoring, Shop floor data collection etc.).
Research, purchase, setup and deploy new IT assets, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices and wireless telephony.
Troubleshoot and provide technical support to employees for software and hardware problems.
Work collaboratively with teams to improve processes and procedures.
Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required
Associate or bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or two years of experience in IT is required.

Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM + Weekends as needed (on-call and/or onsite).
