Volt is hiring for a Surface Grinding Operator - 2nd Shift in Gardena, California.
As a Surface Grinding Operator, you will:
Set up and operate surface grinding machines to grind metal and other materials to specifications.
Inspect and measure finished workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards.
Adjust machine settings to achieve the desired finish and dimensions on materials.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in surface grinding or a related machining role.
Knowledge of machine operation, blueprints, and measurement tools.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr.
