1st shift, 6 am to 2:30 pm, $20.00/hr
As a QA & Inspector you will:
Gain familiarity with the program and procedure regarding production of a wholesome and safe product.
Perform in process quality checks such as net weight, metal detector, gas content in order to ensure product complies with
specs and is in compliance with company procedures.
Examine and verify packaging and slicing checklists and other quality checks for correctness and completeness during live
processing.
Detect, document, and communicate defects with regard to quality checks on production lines.
Complete scheduled checks at specified frequencies or provide justification for missed, canceled and/or void checks.
Verify BOM (bill of materials) information matches scheduled product runs and characteristics.
Manually log and verify product information on paper documents as well as electronic platforms.
Utilize Redzone for data input and line-check retention/documentation.
Maintain inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with USDA requirements.
Identify nonconforming finished products, segregate, and ensure proper communications and
procedures are conducted to prevent shipment of such materials.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), along with company
pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Interact with USDA in-plant inspectors and promptly address all testing and monitoring issues as they arise.
Following set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
1 year experience in Quality Assurance or production roles.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Multitask while being detail oriented.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
Excellent attendance and dependability.
Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends on short notice
Working knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, unit of measure conversions.
Work with electronics, specifically the ability to maneuver within electronic
platforms using tablets or Ipads
Pay rate $20.00/hr
