Coordinate the efforts of IM+CANS Coaching Specialists statewide, work with the Assistant Director of Field Services to ensure Healthcare and Family Services(HFS) behavioral health services and new initiatives are accurately represented in all work products and messaging, and train and coach the IM+CANS Coaching team. Duties & Responsibilities
Trains and coaches IM+ CANS Coaching Team:
Assists with hiring, onboarding and supervising daily activity of IM+ CANS Coaching Specialists statewide via in- person and web -based training and supervision in conjunction with Assistant Director of Field Services.
Facilitates standardized team activity to ensure consistency of coaching and training content across the state.
Serves as primary Subject Matter Expert and works in conjunction with Assistant Director of Field Services to ensure Medicaid enrolled providers have access to technical support and coaching to implement behavioral health initiatives including integration of the IM+CANS.
Works with Field Service Coordinator and Assistant Director of Field Services to ensure appropriate coaching and training coverage for all provider trainings on a monthly basis.
Consults with PATH , Office of Medicaid Innovation (OMI) and HFS leadership to ensure standardization of messaging to successfully implement new services across the behavioral health transformation initiatives.
Responsible for development and implementation of staff development plans as necessary.
Lead and develop learning collaborative:
Lead the development of Learning Collaboratives to support community behavioral health staff and leadership in the usage of IM+CANS and philosophies which support client centered and collaborative relationships. Specifically supporting:
o The IM+CANS assessment and care planning tool and any related components of the tool or related topics that are necessary.
o Integration of the IM+CANS into Systems of Care work and Wraparound for Care Coordination and Support Organizations staff and leadership.
Lead, in conjunction with Associate Director, Assistant Director of Field Services, Assistant Director of CQR and other PATH leadership, support efforts of Medicaid enrolled providers through documentation review feedback and support to enhance best practices and use of the IM+CANS across organizations and programs.
o Review feedback from providers and results of Learning Collaboratives and Document Reviews/Coaching efforts to improve processes including training curriculum development and coaching efforts.
Trains and coaches providers on HFS behavioral health services including IM+CANS:
Provides coaching in order to model facilitation of content for new specialists as well as to introduce new training curriculum to providers.
Provides direct field support and coaching to providers as necessary in order to meet provider need and demand.
Monitors training and coaching delivery including providing feedback with integration of data:
Some analysis of training effectiveness may be required.
Analysis of evaluation and documentation review data to inform improvements to training, coaching and overall processes implemented internally at PATH as well as statewide implementation of the IM+CANS.
Other duties as assigned. Statewide travel required.
Statewide travel may be necessary several days per week in order to effectuate training.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a human services field from an accredited college. Minimum three years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience. Clinical licensure in Illinois, LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453. IM+CANS trainer level certification within 90 days of hire. SOC trainer certification required within 120 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience using the IM+CANS tool in the field, one year of training experience, and experience as an IM+CANS Coach related to Illinois implementation of the tool.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated knowledge of community mental health services.
Highly organized.
Ability to work independently .
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search posting closes. The budgeted salary range for the position is $82,000-$90,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. Hybrid work options may be available for this position with the ability to be on-site as needed per the University's Workplace Flexibility policy. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
