RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer to join their innovative team in Greenwood Village, CO. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the automation and optimization of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debug and troubleshoot cloud automation issues, leveraging analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions


• Analyze problems from multiple perspectives to ensure comprehensive understanding and resolution


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud infrastructure and automation processes


• Assist in the deployment and management of Kubernetes (K8) clusters and microservices architecture

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8) and Helm for container orchestration


• Experience with AWS services and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)


• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Go for scripting and automation tasks


• Understanding of GitLab and CI/CD processes for continuous integration and delivery


• Experience with Kops or equivalent tools for managing Kubernetes clusters


• Knowledge of observability tools, such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana, to monitor system performance


• Understanding of Kubernetes ingress concepts for managing external access to services

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with service mesh concepts and their application in cloud environments


• Knowledge of Java or Node.js for developing microservices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
