Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in New York City, NY is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their team. The client is looking for a UX designer to join our team and help us create engaging, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences.

Duties Include:

• Senior UX Designer will be responsible for conducting user research, creating user personas, designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups, and testing and iterating on your solutions


• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and to deliver solutions that meet or exceed them


• The Senior UX Designer will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, guidelines, and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience


• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX designer, working on web and mobile applications


• Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis


• A portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and process


• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar


• Knowledge of UX design principles, methods, and best practices, such as user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design


• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React/Angular) to effectively communicate with developers


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills


• A passion for solving complex problems and creating delightful user experiences


• Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
