Job Description:
A Boston-based nonprofit organization with a mission of reducing homelessness withing the Greater Boston area is seeking a Weekend Addictions Counselor to join their team!
Job Description:
- Maintain safety within the program
- Management of crisis situations and intervening with caseloads and residents when needed
- Provide trauma-informed care with program participants
- Familiarize yourself with referrals and resources in an effort to ensure that participants immediate needs are met
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in case management, substance abuse, mental illness and with a diverse population
- Crisis Intervention Experience
Location: Boston MA 02108
Schedule: Friday - Sunday
- Either 2:00p - 10:00p OR 10:00p - 7:00a EST
