Responsible for the implementation, training, and planning of health technology within the Division of Health Sciences and Public Service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the day to day functions of the Rhodes State College Simulation Laboratory.
Develops, presents, assess and refines simulation scenarios.
Leads health technology training, including but not limited to Anatomage, Multitaction, ChartFlow, and other innovative technology systems.
Collaborates with appropriate departments in the Division of Health Sciences and Public Service to assist with the integration of health systems technology into the curriculum.
Identifies appropriate education methodologies to deliver innovative health care technology in the classroom.
Maintains competency in the delivery of health care technology at the College.
Stays abreast of trends in health care technology. This would include apps, software, equipment and digital platforms.
Conducts technology training outside of the Division per requests.
Provides ongoing support to faculty and community partners with health systems technology for the College.
Serves as a liaison to external communities to deliver hi-tech professional development utilizing the health systems technology in the Borra Center for Health Sciences.
Coordinates with appropriate departments and outside vendors to develop and maintain health technology systems that support the strategic and operational needs of the Division of Health Sciences and Public Service and the Borra Center for Health Sciences.
Performs other similar duties as assigned.
