What You'll Do
Conduct current state assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
Gain deeper understanding of clients and their business through interviews and focus groups
Define future state visions and prioritization of opportunity areas that deliver value across people, process, technology & information
Perform gap analyses to determine areas that need to be addressed based on current versus future state
Identify a realistic and executable strategy focused on planning and developing roadmaps, communication plans, governance structures and investment prioritization for execution
Execute and deliver high quality engagement tasks in a team environment with a focus on client satisfaction
Play a role in supporting key client deliverables and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
Develop deep client relationships at all levels of organizations and act as a trusted advisor
Participate in the development of the S&O practice (e.g., recruiting, internal communications, training, people and culture etc.)
Develop thought leadership in the S&O space through participation in industry events, panel discussions, publishing papers etc.
What You'll Bring
Must have:
8+ years of experience in financial management, financial consulting, or a related field, with 4+ years of work experience in an analytical or closely related area.
Extensive knowledge of revenue-maximization techniques and microeconomics, including:
Financial planning & analysis
Business modeling
Dynamic pricing
Yield management
Price optimization
Constrained optimization
Upselling/cross-selling
Bundling and tiered pricing models
Forecasting
Market insights, segmentation, and channel management
Strong ability to:
Understand basic accounting principles
Organize, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets
Communicate clearly and effectively with both business and technical audiences
Participate in both strategic and tactical corporate initiatives
Teach, coach, and develop team members
Broad knowledge of key business concepts, including:
Business cases and ROI calculations
Business operations design and analysis
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
IT strategy development, ideation workshops, governance, and effectiveness
Strategic roadmap and execution planning
Business architecture and operating models
Change management and organizational effectiveness
Business process outsourcing (BPO), sourcing, and vendor strategy
Experience providing strategic advisory services to clients.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong, trusted client relationships.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks.
Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to quickly learn new concepts.
Nice to have:
At least 6+ years in the management consulting space, with the ability to deliver client projects across diverse industries and support sales.
