Your impact will range from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient effectively because they have the right equipment.
What will you do?
Load and unload trucks including full T/L, LTL and small partial shipments and delivering packages.
Operating material handling equipment.
Computerized Inventory Receipt, Labeling and Storing of Raw Materials.
Support interdepartmental communication relating to several groups such as: Inventory Control, Manufacturing, QC, Multiple labs, Shipping, Material Handling.
Completes Material Request Forms & material movements for material requests including scrap execution
Completes PPI, 5S and Hazard Identification actions.
Sample raw materials and deliver samples to IQC.
May perform other related duties as needed and/or assigned.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.
Safety:
Following all company safety regulations and procedures and report non-compliance.
Serving as an effective safety steward by ensuring accurate reporting of near misses and attending safety trainings.
Operating a safe work environment through continuous safety awareness and full compliance to all EHS programs and activities.
Maintain compliance to PPE requirements
Experience:
Requires a minimum of 1 year related experience.
Experience using powered industrial trucks
Experience with inventory program (e.g. E1)
Experience with PPI and 5S principles
Experience with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrates strong communication skills
Consistently demonstrates positive and productive results
Follows written and verbal instructions and completes all work accurately and efficiently
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Personable, and perpetuates a can-do positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Computer skills are required with the ability to learn and retain new computer programs

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $16.81-$21.61.
