Position Overview
The Vendor Management Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely onboarding of suppliers, including the review and approval of all compliance documents.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Leading the rebranding process
Drive increased EFT participation
Review, verify and approve EFT documentation
Onboard new vendors/haulers/subs - including follow up for missing documents
Communicate status updates with the requester (operations/accounting)
Review documents for accuracy, including COI's, WC, MSA etc. for service providers, haulers and subs
Reactivations/changes/deactivations of vendors
Rebranding of vendors for acquisitions including updating company name, contact information, shipping address, billing address, and completion of credit applications
Vendor onboarding for acquisitions
Send letters, set up or consolidate accounts, ensure utilities are added to My Utility Cabinet
Collect, review and approve documents
Code invoices for AP processing
Guide vendors/haulers/subs on proper documentation and provide consultation as needed
Proactively follow up on expiring insurance documents to ensure vendors stay compliant
Work with stakeholders including transportation manager/finance etc. in each Opco
Perform audits on the vendors/haulers/subs
Verify insurance with agents as needed
Ability to adapt to changing and process driven environments
Support CRH global led initiatives
Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements/Education/Experience
At least 3 years of experience performing Vendor Management related functions
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal and project management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word and Excel), e-mail and an attitude for learning new software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High standards of ethics, integrity, and trust.
Meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with team to collectively meet deadlines
Understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Efficiently utilize multiple AP systems in a fast paced, high-volume culture
