Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Consultant with demonstrated expertise in financials, cost accounting, MRP, planning and scheduling, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodology. Experience in discrete manufacturing consulting with the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) product is essential for this role.

The Senior Business Consultant will provide billable business consulting and training services to clients to support their CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system. Depending on expertise, the consultant may also offer additional services, such as business process re-engineering, that may not be directly related to CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and implement project plans efficiently.
  • Engage with clients on-site to understand and meet their business needs.
  • Develop detailed documentation deliverables for clients.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions for complex, tactical-level problems.
  • Perform business process analysis and modeling specific to manufacturing.
  • Develop test plans and conduct system testing.
  • Provide both internal and external status reports on project progress.


Qualifications



  • Experience with SyteLine 8 or 9 is required; experience with SyteLine 6 or older is recommended.
  • Willingness to travel 25% to 50% within the US; occasional international travel may be required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to develop global optimized solutions across various areas of the client organization.
  • Independence in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Project, Excel, Access, Oracle/SQL (beginner level), and general MS navigation.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes, including forecasting, planning, and scheduling, with the ability to bridge business and technological aspects.
  • Proven flexibility in managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Strong customer service attitude with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • High energy, persistence, and a commitment to high standards of work.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an analytical field such as MIS, Math, Operations Research, Engineering, Logistics, or Science.
  • 15+ years of SyteLine product experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • 15+ years of experience in industries relevant to Infor’s client base, including forecasting, scheduling, planning, logistics, and manufacturing.
  • APICS Certified (CPIM) is recommended.
  • In-depth knowledge of finite scheduling, simulation, or solver-based optimization is required.
  • Experience with implementing forecasting, planning, and scheduling software.
