Conducts general and vascular ultrasound examinations to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Reviews results for quality and completeness, refers to physician for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

We're looking for experienced Sonographers to join our extraordinary Imaging Team at UM Laurel Medical Center. Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration



  • Required: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)

  • Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)


Education/Knowledge

  • Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

  • Preferred Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography


Applicable Experience



  • Required: 1 year

  • Preferred: 3 or more years

  • Preferred: One year performing general and vascular exams.


Technical/Clinical Skills

Word: Basic Excel: Basic
Basic knowledge and working experience with Medical Terminology
