Job Description:

Technatomy is seeking a visionary Director of Application Architecture and Excellence to drive architectural excellence across our customer solutions while advancing our market presence through industry engagement, government sector leadership, and innovation initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Application Modernization, this role combines deep technical expertise with strategic business development capabilities to shape the future of low-code solutions across Federal agencies while supporting both the CTIO's innovation agenda and the SVP of Application Modernization's delivery objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Support development and execution of the enterprise technology strategy aligned with CTIO's vision

·        Guide technical direction and frameworks for application modernization initiatives

·        Establish and maintain technical excellence across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization

·        Present at major industry conferences and author thought leadership content

·        Serve as technical advisor to senior government officials and agency leaders

·        Provide technical leadership in capture planning and proposal development

·        Lead technical discovery and innovation programs including pilot implementations

·        Define reference architectures and solution patterns for low-code implementations

·        Support portfolio analysis and modernization roadmapping

·        Drive standardization across modernization projects

·        Enable rapid assessment and conversion methodologies

·        Guide resource allocation across modernization initiatives

·        Support technology vendor evaluation and partnership strategies

·        Contribute to technology investment planning and budgeting

·        Assist in developing board-level technology presentations

·        Build relationships with platform vendors and technology partners

·        Support RFP responses with technical solution designs

·        Guide pricing and estimation for complex solutions

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        15+ years of enterprise architecture experience

·        10+ years of customer-facing technical leadership

·        Strong executive presentation and public speaking skills

·        Experience supporting C-level initiatives

·        Track record in application modernization

·        Deep expertise in low-code platforms and architectures

·        History of successful innovation programs

·        Experience with government sector technical requirements

·        Track record of successful pilot program implementation

·        History of conference presentations and thought leadership

·        Experience supporting business development efforts

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

·        Technical certification in major low-code platforms

·        Published works or whitepapers on technical topics

·        Government security clearance

·        Experience with FedRAMP processes

·        Background in low code solution architecture

·        History of successful capture support

·        Innovation program leadership experience

·        Enterprise architecture certifications

·        Prior federal agency delivery experience

·        Experience with major government modernization initiatives

EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required

·        Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred

·        A minimum of 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for advanced degree requirements

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

·        Must be a US Citizen

·        Must have or be able to attain Moderate Risk Public Trust Suitability Determination

WORK LOCATION:

·        Remote with up to 10% travel required for:

o   Executive briefings and presentations

o   Industry conferences and speaking engagements

o   Customer meetings and workshops

o   Government agency briefings

o   Partner collaboration sessions

o   Innovation program support
