Responsible for thoroughly evaluating creditworthiness of commercial loan applications, assessing and mitigating borrower credit risk, and making recommendations on commercial loans to maintain lending within policy standards and strategic directives. Provide insights to risk managers and business lenders on loan structure and potential risks while interpreting standards in accordance with the Business Loan Policy. Contribute to the loan decision-making process as outlined in the Business Lending Policy and directed by the Supervisor or Manager.

Compensation:

$62,108.80 - $71,427.20 (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.

Training:

• Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging. 


• Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal’s culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.


• In addition, this position is part of Royal's workplace flexibility program and can be hybrid after training and being proficient in the position, which is typically the first 6-9 months in the role. Candidates must be able to commit to the first 6-9 months being in-person.  Please Note: We reserve the right to extend the training time in office as necessary.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
1.    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
2.    Three (3) years of related work experience in a lending or related position. 
3.    General understanding of financial data (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Financial Ratios, etc.)

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
1.    Financial/Credit analysis experience  
2.    Knowledge of laws and regulations governing business lending practices.
3.    Experience in credit analysis in a financial institution.
