This exciting position supports financial management and reporting of all PMO Molding & Capital Tooling projects for purchase order requests, invoicing and capital expense tracking. Candidates ideally will be located within commuting distance of a Medtronic site in North America. You will have the flexibility of a hybrid / remote work schedule.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Supports financial management and reporting of all M&CT projects for Purchase requests, invoicing and capital expenses tracking.

  • Follow up on invoicing requests from suppliers.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.

  • Practical knowledge of project management.

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant Financial Planning and SAP experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant Financial Planning and SAP experience.

Nice to Have


  • 2+ years project management experience, preferably in a PMO role.

  • Critical thinking, problem solving analysis and research abilities.

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Familiarity with Medtronic's financial planning and purchasing/invoicing systems.

  • Knowledge of SAP.

  • Experience with Ariba and Readsoft systems.

  • Proficiency in Planisware.

  • Technical experience with plastic molded components.

  • Program management experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel pivot table, data operations and analysis.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$83,200.00 - $124,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
