Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $85,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Planning Manager to lead production scheduling and planning at our Texas plant, collaborating across teams to ensure seamless operations.
*SALARY-$75,000 to $85,000
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Procurement to verify material availability (e.g., ensuring chicken supply for production) and create aligned production plans.
- Execute production plans that optimize efficiency, meet customer delivery timelines, and align with capacity forecasts.
- Collaborate across functions to meet supply chain goals and mitigate potential production risks.
- Drive material strategy, collaborating with Sales, Procurement, and Logistics to forecast and fulfill orders.
- Manage the scheduling and sourcing of raw materials, aligning with purchase orders and sales projections.
- Coordinate with international manufacturing sites for sourcing and logistics, including operations in France and Thailand.
- Lead project teams to execute complex production schedules, monitoring timelines, costs, and quality standards.
- Travel up to 30% as needed.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years in supply chain, production planning, or related fields.
- Experience with integrated planning/production systems, procurement workflows, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability in managing cross-functional projects from start to finish.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required; Master's preferred.
