Assist incoming and outgoing guests in entering/exiting the hotel and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms. Operate Shuttle in a safe and responsible manner on a scheduled route to all designated destinations.
Job Description
Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:
Key Job Functions
Promptly and safely transport luggage to and from guest rooms. May secure, tag and store luggage at guest's request.
Deliver guest room packages and room drops as needed in a timely and professional manor.
Serve as Hotel Doorman, when scheduled, giving a warm welcome and departure for all guests.
Operate as Shuttle Van driver, when scheduled, following all standard operating procedures and delivering superior guest service and safety procedures.
Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guest and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.
Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied guests.
Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to accepting dry cleaning from guest and secure for pick up by dry cleaning company, delivering clean laundry or guest mail/messages, or sundry items to guest rooms, and responding to other special requests.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
May regularly inspect and clear hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.
Abide by all traffic laws, regulations and company policy at all times.
Perform daily inspection of the shuttle to insure cleanliness and good working order.
Deliver superior service to guests at all times.
Report damage to shuttle to supervisor immediately. Complete incident report with Property Manager.
Assist with routine cleaning and detailing of shuttle.
Maintain mileage and maintenance records as required.
Maintain fuel and fluid levels at all times.
Promptly report all maintenance issues to the Property Manager.
Assist passengers on and off the vehicle, as necessary, ensuring safe transport.
Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for shuttle passengers.

Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds
Moving about the public areas
MUST HAVE valid Class E driver's license.
Clean driving record and ability to meet federal and state driving standards.
Bending, stooping, kneeling
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients, guests and employees.
Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, reading road signs, etc.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to exercise judgment and operate under time pressure.
Ability and willingness to follow traffic laws and regulations and company policy and procedure.
Must be able to pass background check as well as pre-employment and random drug screening.

Pay Range
Pay Range $12.55- $13.24/hr. plus tips. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
