Your Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Global Product Manager to join the Biochemistry team at MilliporeSigma. In this position, you'll be pivotal in driving near- and long-term strategies for portfolio growth. This entails developing product roadmaps, positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and managing the entire product lifecycle, from new product introduction to product line rationalization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a portfolio strategy to achieve growth above market levels and create strategic market plans for specific segments.
Manage the entire product lifecycle, including identifying opportunities, planning product development, and optimizing existing product business.
Analyze key markets, technology trends, customer needs, and competitors to identify revenue growth drivers and opportunities across workflows and customer segments.
Collaborate with Commercial colleagues, Marketing Communications, and Digital Marketing to develop and execute marketing tactics and commercial tools from an end-user perspective.
Define product offerings, develop pricing, promotion, and placement for all products within the portfolio to meet business targets, ensuring optimal sales mix across channels.
Develop web activities, tools, and content for products and product categories.
This will be a hybrid role with a preference for candidates located near one of our offices in St. Louis, MO; Milwaukee, WI; or Burlington, MA.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
BS or higher in Biochemistry or a related Life Science field and 5+ years of combined Product Management, Product Management Operations, or Product Marketing experience in a Life Science company, or equivalent.
Proven track record of influencing and leading cross-functional teams.
Track record in developing multi-year portfolio strategies, go-to-market plans, and managing complex supply chain dynamics.
Highly effective communication and influencing skills, both orally and in writing.
Strategic and analytical mindset with exceptional project management abilities.
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (M.Sc., MBA, or PhD) and 5+ years of experience in Life Science reagent and consumable product management and marketing
Experience and/or knowledge about Biochemistry reagent market.
Independence, assertiveness, and ability to make decisions quickly and confidently, with strong skills for people interaction and cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to influence without direct authority to achieve desired outcomes.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills, including the ability to give senior level presentations.
