Are you a skilled and motivated individual looking to join a dynamic team in wood production/assembly? Look no further! We are seeking motivated, hardworking, and experienced wood craft workers who can read shop drawings, know their way around a tape measure, and comfortable with a chop saw and other tools. We have the positions available in our Ogden, UT manufacturing plant. Here is what we are looking for:
Responsibilities:
Assist in the assembly and fabrication of custom wood acoustics assembly.
Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, sanders, drills sanders, stain and finish wood surfaces, wood assembly and finishing, plastic thermoforming, producing fabric wrapped panels, and working with a variety of other materials.
Measures and cuts material based on job specification and application.
Set up and operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures.
Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement solutions to meet production deadlines.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including equipment logs and quality control records.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 18 years old
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
Preference given to candidates with prior woodworking experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and troubleshooting techniques
Working knowledge of safe woodworking techniques and tooling.
Experience with hand tools.
Ability to read shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials 2-50 lbs.
Must be able to perform the physical activities necessary in an active work environment such as standing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Able to stand in a fast-paced environment with typical 8-10 hour shift and overtime as needed.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a variable work schedule consisting of:
five 8-hour days, (6:30am to 3:15pm) and
The following week we work four 10-hour shifts, (6:30am to 5:15pm) to have every other Friday off.
