Volt is immediately hiring a Class A Driver for a local leading Aerospace Manufacturing Companyin Paramount, Ca.
As a Class A Driver you will:
- Load/unload product to and from truck.
- Follow predetermined routes, safely transport parts to and from facility buildings and supplier locations
- Read shipment documentation and ensure that load is correct
- Operate a forklift and safely load and unload materials
- Perform visual inspections for part defects or damages
- Deliver and pick up parts/products to and from facility to vendors and clients
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
The ideal candidate will have:
- Class A Driver License Required
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to follow safety guidelines when loading/unloading vehicle and handling materials
- Clean Driving Record
- 2 years of experience as a delivery truck driver
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required
- Forklift experience a plus
Schedule: Monday - Friday, possible Saturday 9am - 6pm
Pay Rate: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
