About the Role
The ISP Communications Manager leads, motivates, and manages all aspect of ISP Ops to ensure all departmental goals are achieved while overseeing the flawless execution and implementation of promotional & signing strategy, new store/remodel/relocation direction, and current in store presentation.
Direct the team and work with cross functional partners to lead the creation and implementation of all promotional and signing direction, training materials, & trend awareness documents.
Manage the construction floorplan approval process and scope of work for all NA construction projects
Create all new individual floorplans and directional packets for new stores, remodels, and relocations in North America. Oversee the creation of these documents in Europe
Manage the large fixture replacement process for all North America remodels.
Review and approve all NA small fixture requests and maintain small fixture packages, creating new packages as needed for upcoming projects
Support the field during store openings with planogram needs.
Visit new project stores to support implementation and real time review
Support ISP leadership with all new store design projects as they relate to the ISP department
Test all new design elements to ensure proper field implementation is viable
Support the new store playbook with ISP elements
Maintain the new store opening deck and tools
Support marketing with all new store signing needs
Manage the Global ISP Ops team to produce all promotional and sign strategy documentation in partnership with NA and EU Store Operations achieving target deadlines.
Direct the design and execution of all global promotional and signing direction
Support the team in creating clear and concise direction that supports easy implementation in stores, in a timely manner.
Analyze data such as sales reports and market research to identify opportunities and challenges, measure performance, make informed decisions, and direct change down to the store level
Maintain all specialized store distro lists
Update and maintain all visual merchandising manual sections as they relate to ISP planning
Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met.
Manage cross functional relationships with marketing and planning,keeping the lines of communication open, and developing a functional partnership
Maintain a store visit schedule
Train, mentor, and support new ISP production specialists.
Develop an ISP Planning division training program
Execute special projects that relate to ISP, as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4 years retail communications experience required
2 years retail communications management preferred
Minimum of 1 year retail team management experience required
Self-starter with a strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to critically think and use solution-based problem solving
Ability to challenge the status quo, build cross functional relationships, and communicate effectively in person, in email, and via video
Highly organized with exemplary time management and multi-tasking skills
Strong analytical skills to interpret data from various reports such as sales reports, inventory levels, customer surveys, and market researchable to collaborate across all levels of the organization to achieve objectives
High degree of integrity and confidence in one's abilities as a business and visual leader
Evidence of "scrappy startup execution" and a "get it done" attitude when time is tight and stakes are high
Thrives in high growth, ambiguous environment
Proven team management and leadership skills; can inspire and motivate teams to bring future vision to life
Experience with corporate visual merchandising preferred
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
Compensation Range: $82,446.00 - $109,928.00
Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
