As the Americas Senior Manager, Talent Management, you will be responsible for providing strategy, leadership, and expertise for the full scope of talent management processes, cultural activation, leadership development, and leadership pipeline activities across the Americas region. The Americas region is Vertiv's largest region covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Latin America.
This position is located at our Global HQ's in Westerville, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Manage talent processes throughout the year to drive our high-performance culture within the country
Develop deep understanding of key talent within the organization; facilitate talent sharing efforts across organizations to fill critical roles and create talent development opportunities
Drive and execute succession planning within the organization, focusing on critical roles, developing talent maps and re-enforcing follow up on development plans and actions
Identify organizational and talent development needs and develop programs to address those needs (in partnership with HR Business Partners)
Support development, implementation and management of career progression and skill-based models (in partnership with HR Business Partners)
Build trust with leaders across the organization to foster and enable leaders to constantly develop their talent pipeline
Key member of local talent pipeline program committees that ensures each program is effective in building a strong pipeline within Vertiv
Provide local leadership on our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
Actively participate in global Talent Management projects, to shape the talent landscape of Vertiv
Qualification/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Industrial /Organizational Psychology
Minimum of 5 years previous experience in human resources as HR client support or talent development roles

Strong assessment skills coupled with excellent judgment and perspective on human resources issues
Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively interface and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
Global experience in HR or Talent Management with a large, multinational company
An impact player with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner
Able to energize and inspire others to commit to and act on business priorities
