The University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information Department of Information Culture and Data Stewardship seeks exceptional candidates for a Part-Time Faculty position for Summer Session 2025. We are looking for an individual who can teach (and assess student learning) a graduate-level course LIS 2140 Digital Critical Librarianship. This position is outside the tenure stream and has a duration of the 12-week Summer Session 2025 only.
Required Qualifications
This course is offered only in onsite modality only and is scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 6:00-9:15 pm beginning on May 14 and ending July 30, 2024. The course structure is designed to be interactive with a high level of student engagement. Over the course of the term, students will complete their own individual projects, using digital tools to investigate research questions, periodically providing peer feedback, and reflecting on their own processes and learning.
