The fellow will also gain experience in leading the preparation of abstracts for presentation at national conferences and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication using data from ongoing and recently completed studies supported by the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration Center for Tobacco Products. The fellow will also receive support and be encouraged to develop their own grant applications (e.g., F series, K series, or institutional research grants). Additional activities will be determined by the fellow and mentor.
