Job Title:Associate Director, Quality Program CoordinationDepartment:Health System Shared Services | Quality and Operations

Responsible for developing and executing multifaceted, institution-wide strategies for quality improvement, program monitoring and evaluation, and adherence to regulatory standards. Quality Managers serve as partners to the clinical service-line and operational departments of the health system and are used to support patient care, patient safety, teaching, research, hospital operations, quality management, and enterprise priorities. Quality Manager will have an expectation to seek out and leverage evidence based best practice to inform service line specific action plans. Position will be responsible for ensuring service line specific leaders develop comprehensive expertise within their subject areas and ensure alignment when feasible across service areas. Position will be responsible for ensuring execution of plans that support improvement of specific quality metrics such as USNWR performance, Vizient Q&A, CMS, etc.




Minimum Requirements:




  • Required bachelor's degree in health-related specialty, Masters preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.




  • Minimum of 7 years of healthcare quality management experience required.




  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills required.




  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, best practices as they relate to the delivery of high quality and safe health care.




  • Strong project management experience and experience using variety of quality tools required (e.g., DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, PDSA).




  • Demonstrate solid history of achieving results with complex and dynamic teams.




  • Strong analytical skills required.




  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.




  • Computer skills, including basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products, electronic mail and the WorldWide Web/ Internet. Ability to learn new systems software.
