Position Overview
The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position (assistant or associate) in the Department of Operations and Business Analytics. This faculty position is intended to support the recently launched Integrated Business Engineering (IBE) specialization in digital innovation, an honors undergraduate program that involves a partnership between the Fisher College of Business, the College of Engineering, and the Center for Innovation.
A successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach the Digital Product Development and Innovation course which will illustrate to students how digital companies manage products throughout its life cycle, including translating business strategies into technical requirements, understanding the market, and managing tradeoffs between competing objectives. The selected candidate will play an integral role and support the college's planned growth of digital related course offerings and programs. In addition, we expect applicants to be effective in teaching Operations Management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in operations management, or closely related field. Exceptional promise in both research and teaching is required.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge with digital product management and innovation is desired.

The department offers core courses in operations management, data analysis and business analytics to all of Fisher's undergraduate students, as well as electives in various aspects of the disciplines.
