The Department of Management within the Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida, seeks applicants for a tenure track position at the Assistant rank, focusing on strategy/international business. Responsibilities also include: Instruction of 3 courses (9 credit per academic year), Lecturing, leading class discussions and conducting other teaching activities during scheduled classes; creating, administering and grading using appropriate assessment methods; holding office hours and providing additional support for students outside the class time periods; calculating and submitting grades for all students; collaborating with the chair and faculty of the Management Department to create coursework or support the department's mission; following established expectations and protocols for the department and to stay current in the field. Faculty are expected to conduct research for publication in top rated journals. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in business management or related field; a track record of publications in top-tier management or international business journals or ample evidence of the ability to publish in such journals. In addition, outstanding pedagogical skills and a willingness to actively engage within the department, school, and broader communities are expected.
