The Stores Supervisor is the overall oversee person for the warehouse area. Including setup of Site Logistic and the team of stores operator on site. This person is an expert in building up sites and will assist the warehouse team with mobilization. Ensures that all stores operators are familiar with the site structure and procedures and that they work with common templates/tools (spreadsheets, Workspace platforms, etc.).
The Stores Supervisor will also be a part of the daily work on site. The Stores Supervisor will work in close cooperation with the site team to ensure that the warehouse area comes up to the needed requirements at site. The Stores Supervisor is the primary contact to site manager and external logistic provider and will be the single point of contact for Warehouse processes.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Stores Supervisor to join our site in Norfolk, VA.
Do you want to join a dynamic and busy team assisting the Operations and Maintenance activities of our offshore windfarm?
As the Stores Supervisor you will be required to ensure that all stock movements are recorded and controlled in an accurate and auditable manner. You will be manage providing information to the Site Management team to ensure stock is managed correctly throughout the operation as well as conducting and auditing inventory.

The position requires approximately 20% travel.
Relocation maybe provided for this role, should it be necessary.
Responsibilities:
Attending/Running daily Operations and communicate effectively with Back-office/planning team.
Organizing stock layout with adherence to SAP workflow and process flow in general.
Contact person for process changes and implement changes in the warehouse.
Order, receive, pick, pack, issue, and dispatch inventory following the SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) process' whilst maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately to meet tight replenishment schedules for vessel.
Audit transactions of stores team to ensure accuracy and record findings to present to Site Management team on a weekly basis.
Management and control of calibrated tools, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), statutory requirements, and secure inventory including safety equipment and standard tooling.
Maintain a safe, clear, and clean environment ensuring all procedures are adhered to including equipment maintenance, auditing the stores, and reporting findings to management team on a weekly basis.
Expedite effective logistics solutions to the Site Operations team to deliver service to our internal and external customers.
Functionally manages a small team of Offshore Site & Stores coordinators
Manage waste handling and prepare the proper disposal of waste and special waste.
Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience:
The candidate must demonstrate strong initiative and motivation to learn new technology and translate learning into personal success.
High school diploma or equivalent .
2-5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial field
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must pass pre-hire background drug screening.
Organizational skills are a must.
Must be able to obtain a Twic card for port access.
Driving is an essential function of the job and applicants must have a valid driver's license at the time of application with an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record and may be subject to periodic DMV checks of their license.

Preferred Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience:
Warehouse Experience preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.
Preferred previous experience with SAP or equivalent resource planning software.
Experienced working with a large range of contractors and customers.
Experienced working with MS Office applications and preferably SAP.
This role requires the person to be based within a daily commutable distance from Norfolk, VA.
