JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Home Safety Visits - Installs equipment and provides education to caregivers in high-risk neighborhoods in the Greater Cincinnati area as identified by trauma registry data.
Car Seat Safety - Attends community events, health fairs and classes to assist with car seat installation and injury prevention topics. Assists Cincinnati Children's inpatient and outpatient patients and families with car seat installation (focused in the NICU).
Training and Facilitations- Provides training or facilitation services to a designated audience with a designated topic, monitoring training effectiveness for end users.
Program Development- Participates in planning, creation, design and development of programs and materials. Leads the effort for updating programs/materials and for non-complex new course requirements. May create social media and educational content on various injury prevention topics.
Collaboration- Collaborates with others and serves as a resource for adult learning models related to facilitation and basic instructional design.
Issue Resolution- Trouble shoot problems as they arise. Support team members in problem identification and resolution.
User Support- Provides end-user support and meets service level agreements.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Must be able to lift/carry up to 30lbs
Able to occasionally work nights/weekends in accordance with community events schedule
Become a Certified Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) within 3 months of hire
