TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking an Information Technology Manager to join our team. This position is expected to be remote and qualified candidates across the US are encouraged to apply.
Summary: Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, this IT Manager position will lead the day-to-day operations of our IT operations and end-user support. The selected candidate will be expected to lead TransCore's service management journey as we modernize how we implement, deliver, and manage services for our end users. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional assistance on a variety of IT operational issues encompassing both on-prem and cloud environments. This position will also provide management to our IT service partners that provide help desk and other user-end support.

Responsibilities include:
Serve as administrator of our mostly Microsoft stack of technologies, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Entra ID, user accounts and permissions, and SharePoint.
Lead TransCore IT Service Management journey as we mature how the enterprise IT department serves our internal customers.
Provide leadership to a staff of three employees who focus on tier 2 and 3 end-user support, work with a variety of project teams on customer-facing environments and troubleshoot miscellaneous issues that are beyond the scope of our third-party providers.
Face our internal-facing business units (i.e., Finance and HR) and support their technologies.
Coordinate technology management and upgrades with users across the enterprise.
Required Experience and Skills:
Must be a U.S. citizen and cannot have dual citizenship with another country.
Experience with implementing IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL) practices.
At least 10 years of experience in a technology field with 5 of those years in IT service management.
At least 3 years of people leadership experience is required.
Experience with managing third-party vendors and partnering with them to achieve excellent results for internal customers.
Proficiency with Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint backend.
Knowledge of Privileged Access Management tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure administration.
Knowledge of end-point management software such as but not limited to Tanium.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a people leader focused on developing and maturing members of the team.

Able to perform tasks within strict timelines with little or no oversight.

Desired Skills:
ITIL Specialist certifications are strongly desired.
An AZ-104 and AZ-900 certification are strongly desired.
Education: A 4-year college degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline.
Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 annually, based upon experience.
