Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant for Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB). This role will manage performance-based media campaigns (programmatic; social) to drive incremental Business Banking accounts.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in managing acquisition campaigns with aggressive volume and ROI goals. The candidate should be well versed in the digital media landscape, from DSP platforms; to privacy regulations; and measurement solutions (MMM, MTA, etc.).
In this role, you will:
Be the paid media subject matter expert in a cross-functional marketing team with shared goals
Collaborate with agency partners to activate and optimize campaigns for volume and efficiency
Brief media agency on new campaigns; evaluate and approve agency recommendations
Work closely with agency and in-house tech teams to ensure proper tagging and tracking, and assist in troubleshooting when necessary
Partner with analytics on implementing and measuring channel-level incrementality
Manage monthly budgets and updates to marketing forecast with finance and analytics
Present results in weekly performance meetings
Own approval documents such as Purchase Orders and agency buy authorizations
Support audit requirements to document controls, QA processes, and risk mitigation procedures
Prepare ad-hoc presentations as needed for senior leaders
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of performance-based digital media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
5+ years' experience at agency or marketer with acquisition goals, preferably in financial services
Expertise in applying strategic thinking to complex performance campaigns, with demonstrable track record of achieving campaign KPIs
Experience and understanding of technical aspects of digital media (tagging, measurement, audience data solutions, front-end and back-end optimization levers; data-pass; etc.)
Well versed in media landscape (DSP platforms; audience data providers; MMM; MTA; CPRA; CCPA; etc.)
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Works well with ambiguity; resilient in the face of unforeseen setbacks; changes in strategy; etc.
Strong data analysis abilities: ability to identify and evaluate performance trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution and/or recommendations
Excellent presentation skills and communicator; must be able to translate complex concepts for senior leaders and partners
