The Senior, Software Engineer - Connected Assistance (Mobile Calling) Team will work collaboratively across multiple IT functions, employees, and vendors to ensure that Connected Assistance (Mobile Calling) solutions are reliable and scalable. This role involves planning and implementing programs to enable global voice and contact center infrastructures to operate effectively and scale reliably. The position also focuses on operational excellence and continuous improvement activities for Connected Assistance and the Me@ ecosystem through IT Services Management processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
Lead Partnerships for Projects: Collaborate with other teams, provide necessary documents, direction, and examples; identify solutions and timelines; review and provide feedback on proposals; conduct design and code reviews.
Troubleshoot Issues: Gather information on issues (impact, criticality, root cause); engage support teams; formulate and execute action plans; interpret results and determine further actions; perform root cause analysis; complete online documentation.
Provide Business Support: Respond to user questions and issues (technical feasibility, implementation strategies); identify and facilitate solutions; lead cross-functional partnerships.
Lead Discovery Phases: Review project requirements and translate them into technical solutions; gather necessary information (design documents, product requirements, wireframes); write and develop code; conduct unit testing; communicate status and issues; collaborate with project and cross-functional teams; troubleshoot issues; ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs; provide leadership to the project team.
Development and Architecture: Work on the development and architecture of web and mobile applications, particularly in React Native.
Daily Communication: Maintain daily communication with the team and clients using tools such as Zoom and MS Teams. English fluency for business/technical meetings is a must.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Exhibit strong communication and technical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset to ensure the best outcomes for associates and the business.
Skills Required
Mobile Engineer Experience: 5+ years with iOS or Android.
Android Development: 4+ years with Android, MVVM-C architecture, Kotlin, Java, and GraphQL.
iOS Development: 5+ years building native iOS apps in Swift; shipped one or more apps available in the App Store.
Kotlin and React-Native: Expert knowledge.
Android SDK: Hands-on experience with the Android SDK framework.
Object-Oriented Programming: Deep knowledge with Java or C++; strong fundamentals in OOP, reactive programming, and design patterns.
Multi-Language Proficiency: Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, etc.
CI/CD Pipeline: Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
Third-Party Integration: Knowledge of integrating third-party services.
Debugging and Problem-Solving: Excellent capabilities.
RESTful API Design: Expertise in design and integration.
Development and Architecture: Experience with web and mobile applications, particularly React Native.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; fluency in English for business/technical meetings.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong communication and technical skills with an entrepreneurial approach.
