Position Summary



The Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing enterprise-level information systems and solutions to meet the needs of a fast-growing SaaS-based organization. Success in this role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, evaluate current systems, identify new systems or enhancements to existing systems, and support the ongoing integration, security, efficiency, and effectiveness of enterprise systems. This engineer provides technical proficiency in efficiently completing projects and tasks for the rest of the business as a member of a technology support and services team. This role is a self-starter and collaborates within IT, with peer groups, and with vendors to provide world-class systems. This role will participate in the on-call rotation providing 24/7 coverage.


Required for this role is a high energy, experienced, and self-motivated cloud-focused engineer who is responsible for secure operations and management of systems in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and elsewhere. The successful engineer is an advanced technical subject matter expert who can apply knowledge and research to deliver innovative solutions to the business, including automation at every opportunity. Strong documentation skills are required as this role is an escalation path for lower support tiers and trains others in the IT department.

Duties and Responsibilities



Stakeholder Collaboration: Work in partnership with business units, IT teams, Information Security, Product Development, and external vendors to gather requirements, develop specifications, and ensure successful system integration.


System Analysis and Design: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and reducing technical debt. Develop and execute test plans to validate current system conditions against desired states defined by Enterprise Architects. Design and implement solutions that enhance system performance, efficiency, and accessibility (SSO).


Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for enterprise systems, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system upgrades. Ensure systems are properly utilized, running efficiently, and secure.


Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems designs, processes, configurations, and procedures for end-users and IT staff to enable knowledge sharing within the IT team.


Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and IT staff providing ongoing support to ensure effective system utilization.


Technical Support: Assist IT staff with troubleshooting and provide advanced technical support to resolve complex issues.


Project Management: Oversee implementation and coordination with stakeholders leveraging Agile methodologies to timely deliver on efforts related to enterprise systems with adherence to budget, quality standards, and business goals.


Standards Adherence: Designs and maintains solutions derived from architecture standards. Establish design standards and patterns to meet business needs. Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate system and data security.



Qualifications



Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.


Experience: Minimum of 7 years professional IT experience with 3 years' experience in enterprise systems analysis, documentation, design, and implementation. 5 years' experience with cloud-based solutions.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing/configuring enterprise systems and business applications. Strong knowledge of data management, system integration, and software development methodologies. Proficient in at least one programing language.


Analytical Skills: Sophisticated problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze complex systems and processes to identify and implement improvements. Strong aptitude for organizing disparate topics.


Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service attitude. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to peer groups and non-technical stakeholders.


Project Management: Proven experience in managing project deliverables, including planning, execution, and monitoring in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban framework able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver continuous results and improvements.


Physical Demands


Typical office environment which includes extended periods of time sitting or standing, working on a personal computer, typing, using a mouse, using a phone, and participating in video conferences, etc.

• Core hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm Central Time


The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate's compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.


Salary Range - $86,850 - $150,400
