The Public Area Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas of the resort, including but not limited to guest floor corridors, foyers, and stairwells.
Job Description
Essential Function of Job:
Clean assigned areas including, but not limited to, public restrooms and areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, pool and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
Complete special projects like cleaning windows, shampooing carpets etc and will perform other duties as requested i.e. st ock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
Complete a range of cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, cleaning windows, removing and disposing of trash, insects and debris and emptying ashtrays.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
Greet guests in a friendly manner. Assist in delivering guest requests and in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length and lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally
