Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Echocardiographer to perform high-quality echocardiograms in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds and will be dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of imaging accuracy. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to contribute to our growing cardiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other specialized imaging procedures.
Ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images, performing exams in accordance with protocols and quality assurance standards.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret results and provide comprehensive reports.
Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring that all imaging and diagnostic reports are properly documented.
Stay current with technological advancements in echocardiography and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department.

Qualifications
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CCI upon hire or within 3 months of hire if a student.
NH Medical Imaging License upon hire & BLS
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment and interpreting imaging results.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced echocardiographic techniques, such as 3D echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, and/or strain imaging.
ACLS certification.
