Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. The WFC, the 4th most highly attended arena nationally and 7th most attended in the world is home to 270+ events per year, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and events. Comcast Spectacor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast and maintains connected and disconnected networks within the Wells Fargo Center.

Job Summary

The Philadelphia Wings are seeking an outgoing, and energetic individual to assist "Wingston" on game days as well as represent the team as Wingston when needed. The Philadelphia Wings Mascot will engage with members of the public to promote the sport of lacrosse and create a memorable experience for fans. We want someone to bring our mascot to life! This position will serve as the backup mascot.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  • Serve as an understudy for the Philadelphia Wings, representing the Wings at designated appearances including but not limited to home games, Wings events, school visits, lacrosse clinics, watch parties, sponsor events, charitable events, and other various events throughout the year.

  • Must be between 5'7-5'11 in height in order to fit in the costume.

  • Assisting in pre-game, in-game, and intermission features.

  • Perform at community events scheduled through the marketing department.

  • Assist in maintaining mascot costume and communicate any needs to the director.

  • Interact with all fans and patrons you encounter.

  • Assist in ideation sessions throughout the season (in-game skits, social media content, and external requests).

  • Assist in gameday preparation including rolling t-shirts, preparing prize packs, stocking game supplies.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
