Locating and acquiring the appropriate raw material/slugs in accordance with the work order.
Responsible for the set up and loading of raw material into bar feeders/chucks.
Responsible for the setup of the CNC lathe tooling to ensure repeatable, quality parts are achieved.
Responsible for checking parts for conformity to manufacturing and customer requirements in accordance with provided Control Plans and calibrated precision inspection gauges.
Making tooling offset adjustments and replacing worn tooling as required.
Maintaining an accurate count for conforming, non-conforming, and utilized raw material.
Communicating with the shop floor supervisor and engineering team on opportunities for process improvements or changes.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, while also performing basic preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the respective QMS forms and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Following company policies and procedures to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
Ability to multitask if needed.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
Experience with CNC operations in a machine shop or similar environment.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing routers and control plans.
Ability to read manufacturing prints and understand GD&T.
Ability to read, understand, and edit G and M code for CNC equipment.
