This role is supporting the space systems division of one of our longest partners in our 28 years of staffing in Aerospace and Defense. This program builds satellites and spacecraft that do amazing things in space for government and commercial customers. You will be working with a team whose satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide. Responsibilities:
Perform tasks in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas, including troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment and systems.
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions.
Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed formats.
Perform calibration, alignment checks, and make necessary adjustments or modifications.
Run wire, pin cannon plugs, and complete fiber optic installations on components.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
