Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounts management, training, providing solutions to complex issues, serving on committees.




  • Accounts management

  • Compiling and preparing reports.

  • Maintaining accurate records, files and documentation.

  • Residential College Heads:

    • Providing accounting and budgeting support

    • Monitor 19 additional purchasing cards and related transactions

    • Assist with audit requests

    • Train new College Heads and College Head Assistants with regard to budgets and purchasing card usage

    • Responsible for changing Residential College affiliations for students requesting a change




  • Student Success Seminar:

    • Lead all effort with regard to completion of PA's and extra compensation forms for Success Seminar Instructors to include creation, dissemination, and monitoring approval of said forms.



  • Provide support and training for grant program directors.

  • Provide support and monitoring of all accounts within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.

  • Superuser with regard to the use of Banner.

  • Student Affairs Scholarships:

    • Monitoring of accounts

    • Provide solutions with regard to aiding awards

    • Track the who, when, why and dollar amount with each scholarship award

    • Monitor and process contracts for service in Enrollment Management



  • Student Affairs and Enrollment Management budget sheets:

    • Advise offices with regard to completion of the worksheets

    • Provides supporting materials and documents for each worksheet

    • Prepare all worksheets for final review by supervisor



  • Collect dues, process checks, and correspond with students in ODK and Gamma Beta Phi national honor societies.

  • Serve on committees and provide input with regard to budget and event activities: Family Weekend, Veterans Day Celebration, Senior Breakfast, Dunkers Educational Emergency Fund.


Minimum Education Requirements:



  • Two years of college credit.


Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:



  • Four years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience. Additional related education may be exchanged for up to two years of required experience.

  • Must possess excellent office, organization, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Must be able to work with a variety of people.

  • Ability to work with details, memory for oral and written directions, alertness, initiative, ability to plan and make decisions and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:



  • Banner experience preferred,
