SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employee-owner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman, WA. As a Compliance Engineer - Homologation, you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility. As a Compliance Engineer - Homologation, a typical day might include the following:
Develop strategic and tactical processes for maintaining records of compliance and associated technical requirements.
Review and approve product homologation and other compliance documentation.
Assess product compliance documentation for conformance to country regulations.
Envision trends to product regulatory requirements and guide SEL to minimize future impacts.
Evaluate and research compliance requirements for new products and technologies.
Establish companywide homologation procedures and processes.
Advise internal and external customers as a recognized subject matter expert in product compliance.
Direct and guide standards under development by direct or indirect influence.
This job might be for you if you have:
A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experienc
10+ years working knowledge in product compliance and homologation practices for industrial, medical, or commercial product
Strong working knowledge of common compliance related test equipment, test chambers, and testing practices.
Strong writing, documentation, and public speaking skills.
The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Leadership experience (preferred).

Salary Information
$88,600 - $150,000 per year. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
