Description:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs? We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students, providing academic and behavioral assistance, and fostering a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
- Assist with academic and behavioral support
- Implement educational programs
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks (feeding, toileting, positioning)
- Monitor student behavior
- Collaborate with teachers and case workers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures, basic record-keeping techniques, and correct English usage
- Preferred: experience working with children or educational experience
