POSITION REPORTS TO: Chemistry Department
Summary of Position
Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry at Allegheny College is accepting applications for a tenure-track position in physical chemistry at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 2025. Primary teaching and course development responsibilities include physical chemistry courses. Preference will be given to candidates with interest in teaching analytical chemistry. Additional contributions will likely include first-year chemistry courses, the college-wide speaking and writing seminars, and courses in the candidate's area of expertise.
