The Diagnostic division encompasses stationary and portable radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, Brain and Spine Hospital, Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital, Harding Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations. Plain film and fluoroscopic procedures are performed utilizing state of the art Digital Radiography equipment.
The Radiologic Technologist performs fixed and mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree in Radiography or Radiologic Sciences. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography registered with current Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required.
Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
