Job Description
Research duties revolve around the Department of Radiology's internal labs performing MRI research and working with the Radiology Research Office (RRO) on external MRI research studies. Collaborate with the RRO to review MRI research studies for compatibility and capability and provide expertise on implementation of research studies and equipment utilization for research purposes.
MRI develops, implements and manages MRI safety programs, policies and procedures, including screening, access controls and staff training. Generates images of the organs of the body through non-invasive imaging technology utilizing strong magnetic fields, magnetic field gradients and radio waves to generate images of the organs of the body to diagnose medical conditions.
Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification within 18 months of hire. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
