Job Description

Performs maintenance to all types of roof systems and repairs/fabricates ducts and various other metal projects; performs routine maintenance to roof systems and membranes as well as fabricates and repairs all types of electrical sheet metal; 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, but is subject to changes in shift, hours, days, and/or location as operations dictate; may work overtime; subject to 24-hour call. In accordance with the Disaster Preparedness and University State of Emergency Policy 6.17 this position has been designated as a standby position.

Required Qualifications

600 hours training or 6 months experience in roofing systems and sheet metal work required, three (3) years desired. Knowledge of safety practices, skill in sheet metal work, operating sheet metal equipment. Ability to carry out instructions in written/oral/picture form, calculate fractions/decimals/ percentages, read simple sentences.

Additional Information:

The targeted salary range for this position is $21.80 to $27.25 per hour.
