Job Description:

1. Develops and executes product line strategies in support of the Market segment strategy. Champions new

product solution growth projects to meet market/customer needs and manages new product line extensions.

2. Actively forecasts products on an on-going basis to develop capacity plans and manage inventory turns.

Communicate deviations to sales forecast as appropriate.

3. Contribute to the creation of an overall marketing communications plan. Lead execution to specific tactics

within the plan including but not limited to tradeshow, print advertising, and web activity.

4. Monitor and understand competitor's strategies and develop response to those strategies.

5. Provide proactive new product and marketing training and technical support to customers and field sales on

appropriate products. Ability to train not only in product features and attributes but also market information

and future trends.

6. Provides education to others in pricing strategies. Supports large opportunities on pricing issues. Develops

market-pricing position (e.g., market share, capability, growth objective) and develops and monitor's market

share for assigned data.

7. Set pricing strategy for assigned product(s).

8. Manage finished good inventory and specific customer program stock initiative.

9. Manage direct reports, including performance and development.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification

Level Required

Bachelor's Degree

Business, Marketing, Finance or Engineering

Level Desired

Master's Degree in Business

7. Availability outside of normal business hours.

8. Ability to lead by example.

Travel Requirements

15-35% travel as needed to support assigned product lines, including customer sites, trade shows, sales calls and

manufacturing plants.

Valid driver's license required/Motor Vehicle Report Required
