The Building Supervisor collaborates with the Building Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day supervisory duties and operations of the department to consistently execute efficient operations to maintain, diagnose & repair facility infrastructure equipment and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as part of a crew during a designated shift to achieve and maintain on-time production performance including product quality and accuracy standards, operational safety including OSHA and EPA compliance.
Provide hands-on supervision of the following maintenance functions:
• Daily supervision of staff including scheduling and timecard approval
• Equipment performance audits, maintenance, and repair as well as new installations of Plant HVAC, plumbing, mechanical & electrical systems
Housekeeping and grounds-keeping
Fleet vehicle services as applicable
Positive employee, contractor, vendor, and customer relations
Assist with asset management including stable inventories: Equipment, supplies, spare parts
COMMUNICATION
Provide timely & accurate reports and information to the local operations team management.
Immediately notify Facilities Manager of any potential hard-down equipment failures or serious
equipment damage
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certified facility management training required (vocational school, military, trade) or
comparable experience
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum two years related experience in production/manufacturing facility infrastructure maintenance, diagnostics & repair.
